About this Event

Manurewa Library warmly invites you to Whiriwhiri Korero - Woven Stories. This event is a facilitated panel discussion with five panelists who will contribute to the event through sharing their interest and/or lived experience expertise that intersects with homelessness in Tāmaki Makaurau.

We invite our audience to join us to ask questions and contribute to the evening and discussion around homelessness, especially in our own community of Manurewa. The hope is that through engaging in the event, participants will learn more about homelessness in Manurewa while simultaneously aiding them to challenge their own prejudices, deepen their understandings, accepting difference and ultimately bring us closer as a community. The event will be on the 18th August 2022, 6:30 pm for a 7:00 pm start. Kai and refreshments will be provided before the event.

This event is part of Auckland Council Libraries' We Read Auckland.
