Be sure to take a close look at holiday decorations adorning downtown this December! The Whimsical Windows and Elf Hunt contests are back this year as part of the month-long Dayton Holiday Festival! Both contests are happening now until Friday, December 27.First-floor businesses around downtown Dayton have decorated their storefronts to help transform downtown Dayton into a winter wonderland and join the friendly competition of the Whimsical Windows decorating contest! You can vote for your favorite on Dayton.com from 12 p.m. noon on Monday, December 2 until 12 p.m. noon on Friday, December 27! The business behind the decorations with the most votes at the end of that time will receive a $500 cash prize!
Voting will go live on Dayton.com at noon on Monday, December 2!
YOU can be the winner in the Elf Hunt contest! Simply find elves hidden among holiday decorations in first-floor storefront windows and text a photo of it to 937-304-4041. Each photo taken of a different elf counts as one entry toward a weekly drawing for $100 in Downtown Dollars!
A list of all Elf Hunt and Whimsical Windows locations will be available at daytonholidayfestival.org starting on Monday, December 2.
