About this Event

We kindly invite you to our RACGP accredited education event, hosted onsite at our Launceston clinic. This education event is specifically developed for GPs only.

Dr Fraser Brown is our keynote presenter for the evening. He Recently joined our Radiology Tasmania team.

Fraser attended the University of Otago medical school in New Zealand. Post graduation he worked in New Zealand then Victoria working at the Royal children’s hospital and the Alfred. He returned to New Zealand to train in the Auckland radiology training program for 5 years. Subsequently he was an advanced trainee in nuclear medicine and PET at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, RCH and the Austin Hospital.

Fraser subsequently worked at Western health in Melbourne in radiology, breast imaging and nuclear medicine and was late a partner at Monash Medical Centre. He returned to Western Health as Director of Medical Imaging.

In 2011 Fraser moved to Tasmania to work in northern Tasmania. In 2018 he worked in Geelong and Victoria doing PET CT and general radiology. In 2022 Fraser worked for Gold Coast radiology.

In 2023 Fraser move to Tasmania and commenced working for Radiology Tasmania.

Fraser speaks fluent Russian and French. He has a honorary fellowship of the Japanese society of Radiology.

Fraser has an interest in medicolegal aspects of imaging and enjoys teaching in molecular imaging and theranostics.

Dr Robin Harle is one of our leading Radiologists and our Chief Medical Officer at Capitol Health.

Dr. Robin Harle completed his medical training at the University of Western Australia and his Radiology training through the Royal Hobart Hospital. Dr. Harle completed a fellowship in Ultrasound and MRI at the Royal Hobart Hospital. Dr. Harle has worked in the Department of Medical Imaging at the Royal Hobart Hospital for several years. Dr. Harle has a special interest in Thoracic Imaging.
