I'm honored to have been accepted into this important exhibit that explores art as a vehicle for the expression and process of grief and loss.My artwork:
“Life Imprint” is an image of the residue of a fall leaf on a bird bath. As I peeled the leaf from the stone it left its essence, adding to the texture of the basin. Just as our loved ones imprint the essence and texture of their lives on us.

...a juried exhibition that seeks to showcase artists’ representations of the concepts and process of grief, loss, and healing.
Grief and loss are universal human experiences, causing complex emotions, thoughts, and feelings that are difficult to express verbally. The various mediums and styles of art provide a vehicle for individuals to describe and communicate their feelings in a tangible way that can be shared with others.
