As the continent faces complex challenges, the debate on Europe’s destiny is more urgent than ever. Should Europe move toward a unified federal cooperation, or should it strengthen the sovereignty of its nation states, focusing more on economic cooperation?
Our panel of experts will share their insights on the following topics:
- What lessons can we learn from the history of European integration, what was the trajectory of the EU in the last 20 years
- Is a United States of Europe in any way a possibility in the foreseeable future?
- How does the rise of the far right affect the current trajectory of European integration?
- Should the EU go forward with enlargement or is a reform of the Treaties necessary first? ?

? Gondolkodtál már azon, hogyan fog kinézni Európa 50 év múlva? Vajon szükség van arra, hogy Európa a föderalizmus irányába haladjon, és ha igen, hogyan valósítható meg mindez?
Ha érdekelnek ezek és hasonló kérdések a kontinens jövőjéről, örömmel várunk a Gyakorlati Diplomácia Szakkollégiuma által szervezett izgalmas panelbeszélgetésen! ?
Európa komoly kihívásokkal néz szembe, ezért sosem volt még ennyire fontos a kontinens jövőjéről folyó vita. Vajon az európai országoknak egy egységesebb szövetségi együttműködés irányába kellene lépniük, vagy inkább a nemzetállami szuverenitást kellene megerősíteniük, és a gazdasági együttműködésre koncentrálniuk?
Meghívott szakértőink a következő kérdéseket járják körbe:
- Milyen tanulságokat vonhatunk le az európai integráció történetéből, és milyen irányba haladt az EU az elmúlt 20 évben?
- Van-e reális esély arra, hogy létrejöhessen az Európai Egyesült Államok a belátható jövőben?
- Hogyan befolyásolja a szélsőjobboldal térnyerése az európai integráció jelenlegi irányát?
- Szükséges-e az EU mihamarabbi bővítése, vagy előbb a szerződések reformjára lenne szükség? ?
