Where do we go from here?

This is bigger than an election; this is about liberation. As we have seen time and time again, nobody is coming to save us. We have to save ourselves. Community engagement and empowerment is the only real answer. Join us for a critical conversation with Author, Storyteller, and Cultural Critic, Joel Leon; and community activist and Chairperson of Bronx Community Board 1, Clarisa Alayeto, to discuss how we move toward our collective freedom. During this event you will have an opportunity to network and build with others while engaging in a dyanicmic discussion about our collective freedom. If you have questions, ideas or thoughts about how we move toward this, then this is a conversation we need you to attend! Refreshments will be served and there will be a cash bar available. This is a free event; we only ask that you come with a spirit of community and collaboration.
