Where are we with Living in Love and Faith?

Join us at St. Marks Church or on zoom as we explore the next steps for full inclusion and equality in the Church of England. We'll be joined by Nic Tall, Malcolm Chamberlain, and Cathy Rhodes. The evening will include a summary of Living in Love and Faith, where we have got to, and an exporlation of next steps. There will be space for questions and the opportunity to hear more about Together for the CofE in Sheffield Diocese, as well as practical ways you can get involved.

Together for the Church of England is a group of Anglicans aiming to support and work with all those desiring a more diverse and loving Church of England. We hope to see full inclusion and equality in the Church of England. We recognise that we all understand the unconditional love of God for all people in different ways, but seek to grow a church which gathers all who profess faith in God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Together has been formed by members of General Synod who are aware of the need to organise for greater equality and inclusion in the life of the Church. This has been in consultation with organisations such as MoSAIC (Movement of Supportive Anglicans for an Inclusive Church), Inclusive Church, WATCH (Women and the Church) and The Campaign for Equal Marriage in the Church of England. We are drawn from different traditions within the Church, but all share a belief that God calls us as we are to sit at his table.

Nic Tall is the National Co-ordinator of Together For the Church of England

Dr Cathy Rhodes is a lay member of General Synod and the Together contact for Sheffield Diocese. She is a retired Consultant Obstetrician and volunteers as the Diocesan Environment Officer.

The Ven Malcolm Chamberlain is Archdeacon of Sheffield and a trustee of Together for the CofE.
