When a researcher dies under mysterious circumstances in 1943 Wales, his colleagues discover decades of hidden research connecting ancient cults, volcanic disasters, and astronomical alignments across two thousand years. From Pompeii to Tambora, the pattern is always the same: symbols, obsidian glass, dreams, madness, and catastrophic eruption.
And according to their late colleague's calculations, the stars are right. Now.
