7th Annual Her She Women’s Empowerment presents; When The Mask, Isn’t Masking “Peeling Back The Layers”. When she has been scarred, traumatized, and damaged, understand that healing is a process. It won't happen overnight; it will take years.

Before healing can begin, she may put on layers of masks, pretending to be okay. She hides her hurt, pain, scars, shame, guilt, embarrassment, suicidal thoughts, and experiences of sexual molestation, all while trying to live up to someone else’s expectations.

Only when she is willing to let healing take place can these masks be peeled off, layer by layer, allowing her to become the best version of herself.
