Join us for the 10-year anniversary of When the Ends Don’t Meet, Humans of Oshkosh storytelling project along with speaker, author, and social justice advocate: Stephanie Land. Stephanie is the author of Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive (2019), which was adapted into the television miniseries Maid (2021). Her second memoir, Class: A Memoir of Motherhood, Hunger, and Higher Education (2023) explores the challenges of single parenting and poverty while attending college. The exhibit will feature work from two classes and Senior nursing students, starting at 5:00 PM.
Stephanie Land will close the event with her story, starting at 6:00 PM.
This will be held in the Culver Family Welcome Center (625 Pearl Ave) and is free and open to the public.
The event sponsors include University Speaker Series, The Center for Civic and Community Engagement, the Whitburn Center, the University Studies Program, the College of Nursing, Health Professions, and STEM, and the School of Public Administration and Global Engagement.
