The When Everyone Leads™ Certification Program is for college professors, community leadership program facilitators, independent independent coaches and consultants, HR professionals, and anyone else working in the nonprofit sector who seeks to build leadership capacity in others. It is for experienced teachers and facilitators who want to add to their toolbox a proven program to inspire others to exercise more leadership on important challenges.
📅 This experience will be held in-person in Wichita, Kansas, July 23-25, 2024.
Through this 3-day certification program, you will:
🔹 Experience the When Everyone Leads program with an eye toward facilitating it yourself.
🔹 Adapt examples and exercises to fit your context.
🔹 Demonstrate a basic level of proficiency by passing an assessment of their teaching the following sessions:
🔸 Life in the Gap
🔸 Make Multiple Interpretations
🔸 Use the Heat
🔹 Demonstrate the ability to
🔸 Use a 90-second story to underline a teaching point.
🔸 Use the When Everyone Leads™ Facilitator Guide and other course materials to support their work at the front of the room.
🔸 Achieve participant learning outcomes for When Everyone Leads.
🔹 Understand the responsibilities of certified When Everyone Leads™ facilitators and the policies that govern the partnership between the facilitator and KLC.
🔹 Gain access to a KLC-sponsored community of practice and consultation to support their success in delivering the When Everyone Leads
🔹 Receive a non-credit When Everyone Leads Facilitator credential badge from KLC partner Kansas State University for completion of the program.
🔹 Prepare to use Case-in-point virtually and in-person.
🔸 Practice using Case-in-Point in your teaching, training or consulting.
🔹 Get real time feedback from peers and KLC’s master practitioners.
🔸 Experiment with what works, and what doesn’t, in a supportive group environment.
As a certified facilitator, you’ll help participants:

🔸 Experience The Gap and consider what it means to “put the challenge, not the person, at the center.”
🔸 Learn the definitions of “technical problems” and “adaptive challenges.”
🔸 Know the five most common barriers to progress.
🔸 Move from experiencing heat or discomfort as something to be avoided to something that can fuel progress and help get groups unstuck.
🔹 See more opportunities to exercise leadership after the program.
🔸 Seize your moments: Ask powerful questions, make tough interpretations, act experimentally.
🔹 For those with some authority, make leadership less risky for others.
🔹 Become eligible to enroll in Your Leadership Edge, Step 2 on the KLC Path of leadership courses.
