About this Event
Returning to Hampstead Heath as our subject and sanctuary this mindful drawing workshop will incorporate meditation and breath work to lead us into a series of playful, dynamic drawing exercises led by artist and yoga teacher Laurie Nouchka.
Under the new moon and the lush late spring, we will immerse ourselves in the depths of Hampstead heath giving space to slow down and connect with ourselves and the potency of nature's cycles.
This approach to drawing encourages you to experiment with techniques and exercises to explore the parameters of your visual language. We focus on the process over outcome as a way to notice what arises within us during this time. Drawing is ultimately a meditation, an expression of a moment on paper, so we will start from there and see what unfolds.
No experience of drawing needed. Please bring your own materials to draw with.

Please note: As this is outdoors this will be somewhat weather dependant. If we are unable to go ahead for whatever reason we will issue refunds minus the eventbrite service fee.
