Jerrie had a hysterectomy in November of 24 and three weeks later she had to have her appendix removed. When she woke up from her appendectomy she was in excruciating pain and realized she couldn't feel anything from the waist down. She suffered some form of nerve damage that caused paralysis from the waist down. She has been in therapy and having to see lots of Dr's. One Dr told her she needs complete vaginal reconstruction due to the damage caused by the hysterectomy and she is now seeing a urologist who is trying to help her before going straight to the reconstructive surgery. She has been learning how to walk again and has regained some use of her legs but still has severe nerve damage and cant tell when she has to go to the bathroom or feel anything in her legs.
