Come and enjoy a short-term choir experience concluding with a relaxed public performance for family and friends. In Wheels and Wings, we'll immerse ourselves in diverse repertoire which may include pop, gospel, rock, traditional, folk, R&B, jazz, music theatre, classical and gospel styles. Multi-week choir series move apace and are recommended for adults with previous harmony singing experience. Songs are introduced swiftly in the opening weeks. Seasoned Just Sing Something singers recognise this allows ample time for consolidation at home, and for polishing in our final rehearsals. All participants are strongly urged to attend all Thursday evening rehearsals regardless of their level of experience. Singing in a choir is a team effort after all, and we do progress a great deal in every session. Singers must be prepared and available to perform at our combined public concert with the Croydon Choir on Sunday 16th November in Ringwood (call time 1.30pm for a 4pm show).In an attempt to build our cohort of male voices, a discounted rate is being offered to new male singers (with harmony experience) joining their first Just Sing Something choir series. Men who have participated in pop-up choir nights, but not a multi-week choir series, are also eligible for the discount. This is a once-only offer for this series.
