We offer weekly cycling opportunities throughout the year for disabled adults, children and young people at Woodbank Park in Stockport.There are a variety of adapted cycles to enable people of all abilities to experience and enjoy cycling.
Many of the disabled children and adults who use the project have complex needs. The cycles are specially adapted, so everyone can join in and have fun, whilst getting some healthy exercise! (Please note that our cycles are not compatible with powered wheel chairs due to weight restrictions).
On Thursdays and Fridays, Wheelers sessions are primarily for people with disabilities, but on Saturdays, anyone can join in and ride a bike on the track.
Sessions cost £3.50 (carers ride for free).
There’s no need to book, just turn up. Please note it’s cash only on the day.
