🎨 Mini Camp: Intro to the Wheel! 🏺Day 1: Feb 16th from 9:30am-11:30am
Day 2: Feb 17th from 9:30am-11am
This special two-part mini camp is designed for students in public school to explore the world of ceramics during their time off!
How it works:
Day 1: The Wheel. Students will jump right into the action, learning the basics of centering and shaping raw clay on the potter's wheel. It’s messy, challenging, and a total blast!
Day 2: The Glaze. After their pieces have been fired, students return to add color and personality to their creations with our studio glazes.
Note on the Process: The pottery wheel takes a lot of practice and patience! While Rose will do her best to ensure each child has at least one item to glaze by the end of camp, please keep in mind that the wheel can be tricky for beginners. There is no guarantee that every attempt will produce a keepable vessel—we focus on the fun of learning the skill!
