Imbolc marks the quiet stirring beneath winter's surface. It is a time of purification, inspiration and the rekindling of life. Join this class and learn about the mythic foundations of this sabbat. Important historical traditions from Celtic and Indo-European cultures will also be discussed. Student will also discover the significance of the goddess Brigid, the hearth fire and associations to artistry and craftsmanship. Finally, how to incorporate this holy day into modern practice will be taught.
