Wicked Opossum Records is "Starstruck" over this all-star lineup! In celebration of the release of Starstruck: A Tribute to The Kinks, Wicked Opossum Records presents three international acts that contributed to the compilation live for one night only in New York City at the intimate Mercury Lounge.
Wheatus -- NYC, NY

Teenage years may be fleeting, but it seems ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ is for life, as Wheatus’ debut single popped up yet again in 2022, making itself known in a way never seen before in the form of a TikTok trend. The “Teenage Dirtbag photos” trend has now been embraced hundreds of thousands of times, including by celebrities such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Mark Ruffalo, Lil Nas X, Chevy Chase, and countless others, resulting in the hashtag #teenagedirtbag being viewed over 1 billion times worldwide.
So it’s been a busy couple of years for Wheatus. While managing the sudden influx of attention and press, the independent six-piece band have also been continuing their ongoing project of re-releasing their debut album (in a twenty-song expanded edition featuring “lost” songs from throughout the years), creating content for their Patreon, performing on multiple tours across the USA, and getting ready for international touring in 2023.
To date, the eclectic rock outfit has now released six studio albums, two live albums, and multiple additional singles.
Todd Morse -- Los Angeles, CA

The Los Angeles/Las Vegas-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has spent over twenty years writing, recording and performing in groups such as New York hardcore band H2O, Juliette and the Licks, Operation M.D. and is now the bass player for the multi-platinum band The Offspring.
His debut solo album, appropriately titled ‘Late Bloomer’ was released in January of 2019. The record is about the clash between that inner kid and his wiser self. It harks back to his childhood influences – The Clash, Tom Petty and The Rolling Stones – and fuses it with the vocal and guitar skills he’s refined over two decades.
The Fatal Flaw -- Boston, MA

Who says pessimism can't be catchy as hell?
Boston's The Fatal Flaw combines a playful juxtaposition of biting cynicism and shameless pop sensibility earning them distinction as a band worth watching.
The Fatal Flaw formed in early 2008 when Joel Reader, California native and pop-punk veteran (The Mr. T Experience, The Plus Ones, Pansy Division, The Avengers), suddenly found himself bandless in the numbing cold of a Boston winter. Not one to mill about aimlessly, Reader quickly assembled a veritable who's-who of Northeast rockers. The new act features Reader on bass and lead vocals, Ryan Mercedes and Aaron Spransy on guitars, backed by Randy Tartow on drums.
