The Whau Arts Festival returns this October, inviting the community to come together and tune in to the many voices of Te Whau. Now in its 11th year, the festival creates space to reflect on what matters most, honour stories of the past, celebrate the present, and imagine the futures we are building together.Throughout October, Te Whau will come alive with free events, performances, and creative experiences led by local artists and communities. This year, the festival will be centred at Archibald Park, on the shores of the awa, with workshops and activities taking place across the Whau.
The Whau Arts Festival is presented by Whau the People and proudly supported by the Whau Local Board.
