A Free Community Conversation on Heart Disease.
About this Event

Join us for a community education program where medical experts will provide valuable insights on heart disease, risk factors, screening and treatment options. This discussion will also cover a rare but serious disease, ATTR Amyloidosis, that’s often connected to heart disease. Learn about overall wellness and nutrition, partnering with your healthcare system, patient advocacy and how genetics play a significant role in your heart health. This two-part Community Conversation is uniquely designed to increase awareness and equip you with the tools to effectively advocate for your health.

What You’ll Learn

This session aims to raise awareness in our community about the significance of early diagnosis, especially as some symptoms often go undetected until it severely impacts heart function. We will also explore the genetic factors behind the disease, empowering participants with knowledge on hereditary risks and how to navigate them. This discussion is focused on you as an individual, so we invite you to join the conversation to learn, share your experiences and ask questions.

*Registration is required. This program is free and open to the public. Your two-day registration includes lunch for both programs.*
