Join Island SPACE for an unforgettable celebration of storytelling with "What's Your Story, Jamaicans in Florida?"!
This exciting two-day event, hosted by Debra Ehrardt, will feature the best and brightest Jamaican storytellers in Florida, sharing their compelling personal tales. Contestants will compete in the semi-finals and finals, each delivering a unique six-minute story that promises to inspire, entertain, and connect us all.
Submission Guidelines: Think you have a story worth sharing? Submit your true story, either written or taped, and let your voice be heard. Stories must be six minutes long and be submitted by July 30, 2024 to [email protected].
The top storytellers will advance to the finals for a chance to win cash prizes!

- 1st Place: $1000
- 2nd Place: $500
- 3rd Place: $50
