About this Event
Spice cakes were a special treat in 17th-century England and New England, filling kitchens with the warm scents of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. These rich, fragrant cakes with decadent icing offered families a sense of comfort and celebration. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll bake and ice your own 17th-century spice cake in our wood-fired oven and enjoy a slice of history fresh from the hearth!
