We’re hosting an open house and tours of this winter’s severe weather shelter (SWS) in Bellingham.
When and Where
- Date: Wednesday, November 12
- Location: The SWS facility, 925 N. Forest Street. Follow signage to the side entrance.
- Parking: A lot across from the facility can be used, or street parking is available.
Schedule
- 4:30 - 5:30 pm Guided tours of the shelter
- 5:30 - 6:00 pm Presentation from Health and Community Services Staff
- 6:00 - 7:00 pm Topic-related stations for people to ask questions or share concerns. Topics: Neighborhood Impact and Opportunities, Shelter Operations, and Shelter Policy with the Homeless Housing System.
