Are you interested in entering dahlias in the annual Whatcom County Dahlia Show in September? Growers of varying levels of experience gather the 1st Tuesday of every month (but not July & Dec.) to talk dahlias. Come and learn! It's soon planting time! When is the best time to plant dahlias? How do folks go about planting them? How come they don't need watering at first? Our May meeting includes a panel with Q&A with how to plant your dahlias for optimal growth and bountiful summer blooms. Come with your questions!
The meeting is held at the Laurel Grange building just north of Bellewood Acres in northern Bellingham.
