Syntacog | Melissa Siah, Co-founder

Speaker Bio: Melissa Siah is one of the founders at Syntacog, a startup that is helping medical device manufacturers navigate complex regulatory requirements. She spent ten years working for the Australian government in regulatory law, before pivoting to product management, specialising in LegalTech and AI products. She led the Contract AI team at Exari prior to its acquisition by Coupa for US$215M.legal tech product for automating promotions law at the NewLaw startup Plexus. Promotions Wizard made the process of running a competition so fast, easy and cost effective that it continues to be used by more than 60% of ASX100 companies. Melissa co-founded Syntacog in August 2020, with the goal of turning complex regulatory regimes into easy-to-use apps. Syntacog has won more than £500k of grant funding to develop its proprietary software technology for use with health and safety, travel and medical device regulations. Syntacog won the regulatory division of the 2021 Singapore Airlines AppChallenge and is now part of the 2022 MassChallenge Early Stage accelerator cohort.
