About the workshop: Through presentation, active discussion and hearing from people who manage the impact of trauma on their lives, our aim for this workshop is to support participants to develop a better understanding of what trauma is, how it can impact people, and how to better support people in the community. We will explore:

• What is trauma?
• Different types of trauma
• Impacts of trauma
• What is a ‘trauma-informed approach’ and how can it support people?
