James Waddell leads the European gas research team at the consultancy Energy Aspects. His work focuses on providing energy market analysis to the firm's client base of trading firms, project developers, financial institutions, and regulators. James has spent over 10 years covering the energy sector having previously served as the editor of price reporting agency Argus Media's European Gas and LNG reports, and as a research director of energy focused investor reports published by the US’ PennWell group. James frequently provides market commentary to international news organisations including: the BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC, CGTN, the Financial Times, France 24, Montel, the New York Times, the Petroleum Economist, Reuters, the Telegraph, and S&P Platts.
