About this Event

About the event:  What Is Love, Again? is a meaningful mother–daughter workshop designed to deepen connection and grow hearts together. This experience is the 2.0 version of our beloved February 2024 workshop, "Love Is." This workshop is a 2.0 because it is created to help our special girls understand and live out love as a fruit of the Spirit—not as a feeling, but as a supernatural, sacrificial choice rooted in God’s love (agape).

Through interactive activities, reflection, and creativity, mothers and daughters will explore what it truly means to love:

  • Sacrificially — recognizing the everyday sacrifices made out of love
  • For the good of others — speaking life and affirming God-given qualities in one another
  • Even in difficult moments — learning how love responds instead of anger
  • Stemming from God — trusting Him as the source of strength, wisdom, and guidance

Together, participants will share affirmations, write letters and prayers to encourage one another during challenging times, and create an original “recipe for love” — mothers and daughters will use ingredients provided to prepare, package, and name their jarred sweet treat.

This workshop offers a safe, joyful space for faith, conversation, and connection — helping mothers and daughters walk away feeling seen, encouraged, and equipped to live out love every day.

About MIRIRS: MIRIRS is a development and empowerment organization for pre-adolescent and adolescent girls. It stands for May I Remember I’m Really Special. Our purpose is to ensure that every girl knows, feels, and behaves as if she is special, not because of her looks, intelligence, talents, or even what she has, but because of her identity in Christ. We help our special girls learn about who God says they are and how to carry the light he has placed inside of them. We do this through faith-based identity development workshops, leadership training, and personalized mentoring. Our workshops are always centered around our core values: Love, Leadership, Impact, Relationships, and Positive decision making. Each of these values reflect a key component in the lives of women who truly embody what it means to know, feel, and behave as one who is special. Learn more by following us on instagram: Mirirs_
