Paul Bloomfield,
A Connecticut native, is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Connecticut (Storrs). He works in the overlap of metaphysics and moral philosophy, arguing that morality is grounded in human nature. In addition to numerous articles, Bloomfield has published four books, including The Virtues of Happiness (OUP, 2014) and The Oxford Handbook of Moral Realism, co-edited with David Copp (OUP, 2023).

Robert Krause,
Director of Clinical Services at Centered, has lectured in psychiatry and psychiatric nursing at Yale University, in philosophy at Quinnipiac University and Western Connecticut State University, and in Consciousness Studies at the Graduate Institute. He holds certifications in Sex Therapy and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. His recent publications are largely in the areas of psychedelic therapy and clinical education. A theme that runs through much of his interests involves how reaching transformative states of consciousness leads people to greater self-knowledge and compassion for others.
