About this Event

We are offering a six-week, in-person women's empowerment group titled 'Trending Topics: For Today's Women', with the fifth topic being 'What is Effective and Assertive Communication?'.

Have you ever tried yelling at someone to get your way? Or, to get your point across? There is a good chance that it felt good, but perhaps did not solve the problem. The reason is that raising our voices and repeating the same things over and over and not as effective as they may seem. When you join this discussion, you will learn about common mistakes of communication, including tools that will help you get your point across while being heard, and maybe even ways in which this could transform your relationship with yourself and others.

You are invited to attend any or all of the sessions and feel free to bring your lunch. There is no charge for the meetings, and beverages will be provided.
