Join us for a film screening of What I Want You to Know (2023), a documentary film described as a “gripping and intimate account of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, told by combat veterans who share deeply personal stories from their deployments and explore the moral tragedy of their wars.” The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Garrett Reppenhagen, a combat veteran who appears in the film, along with additional combat veterans from our area. This is the first event in the 2024-2025 series “What is Peace?” brought to you by the Alworth Center for the Study of Peace and Justice. Please note that this film screening and discussion will include images and themes that audiences may find disturbing. Admission is free.
