About this Event
Join us for Part 2 of Minnesota Peacebuilding Leadership Institute's Election and Legislative Learning Series: "What Happens to My Vote?
During this in-person event, Hennepin County Elections Officials will
bring to light the less visible parts of the voting process.
The evening will include light refreshments, a presentation, and a Community Discussion. Together, we will learn the difference between state, county, and local roles in running elections. Who checks to ensure the count is accurate? How does a recount work? We will also discuss what Minnesota is doing to improve election cybersecurity and other measures to ensure secure and fair elections.
This event is open to all community members interested in the health and integrity of our democratic processes. Whether you're a concerned citizen, a local leader, or someone interested in learning how to engage in meaningful conversations about the upcoming election, your participation is welcome.
Space is limited to 20 attendees. We encourage early registration.
Join us for an evening dedicated to strengthening the foundation of our democracy through dialogue and mutual understanding.
