Nearly every Baby Boomer had a father, and in some cases a mother, who wore the uniform of the U.S. armed forces between 1941 and 1945. One common comment from children of U.S. veterans is they never heard their parent talk about the war; they had no idea what their father did, or what he experienced, or what he saw. This course is designed to fill that information void. We will explore the times, the people, and the campaigns that define WW II.This lecture is part of the John David Williams Memorial Lecture Series in Military History.
