About Silvio Lorusso
Silvio Lorusso is a writer, artist and designer based in Lisbon, Portugal. He published Entreprecariat (Onomatopee) in 2019 and What Design Can’t Do (Set Margins’) in 2023. Lorusso is an assistant professor and co-director of the Center for Other Worlds at the Lusófona University in Lisbon and a tutor at the Information Design department of Design Academy Eindhoven. He holds a Ph.D. in Design Sciences from the Iuav University of Venice.
About Chris Lee
Chris Lee is a graphic designer and educator from Brooklyn, NY, with degrees from OCADU in Toronto and Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. He has worked with prominent organizations like The Walrus Magazine, Metahaven, and Bruce Mau Design. Lee’s design work is part of the permanent collection at SFMOMA and he is a research fellow at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. His research focuses on graphic design’s role in power dynamics and documentation. Lee has lectured internationally and his projects and writings have appeared in various prestigious publications and exhibitions.
