What Anoka is Reading Book Club meets monthly to explore a variety of genres to inspire relevant and meaningful conversation. This book club takes the month of December off, but in January we will be discussing BOTH novels in Octavia Butler's Parable Series: PARABLE OF THE SOWER and PARABLE OF THE TALENTS. This is a dystopian series described as more relevant than ever. Please note: this will not be a cozy reading experience and may push you beyond your comfort level.
