About this Event
Shannon Brewing Company will be debuting a Short Run event on Saturday, May 7 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Participants will “run” from the brewery to the end of the road, turn around at the church and “race” back to the finish line. It is called the Point 5k or .5k - definitely not an actual 5k but just as much fun! Tickets are only $10 which includes your ‘race entry fee’ and a unique T-shirt.For refreshments and refueling post race Shannon Brewing Company will be offering great prices on beer while tasty Caribbean Fusion Cuisine will be available for purchase from El MoFo Loco.
The event will benefit Animal Advocates of North Texas, a local rescue group which has been saving cats and dogs in need for over 13 years.
