Are you interested in the ocean? Are you keen to learn techniques to improve your snorkelling ability, and learn how to help others experience the ocean? Are you eager to meet likeminded people?Join us on Saturday the 19th of October from 9am-12pm for a session at the Whangārei Aquatic Centre. Get familiar with our Experiencing Marine Reserves Te Kura Moana (EMR) kaupapa, practice advanced snorkelling rescue techniques, connect with liekminded people and learn water safety and rescue procedures.
This event is funded by Water Safety NZ. There is a focus on teaching safety on and around the water, while having fun and learning something new.
Please fill out the registration form below. Lunch provided following the training session. Event details and training plan will be sent out two days before the event via email.
