The Whaleastic Grown-Up Book Fair, is coming back to The Whale on Saturday, April 12th from 1-5pm. ::We’ve got a line-up of incredible vendors helping us bring this nostalgia-packed event to life. :: Come browse books from some of your favorite local book vendors. ::

Book Vendor Line Up:

1. Malaprops

Malaprop’s Bookstore/Café is an independent bookstore founded in Asheville, NC in 1982. They carry a carefully curated selection of books for adults, children, and young adults, as well as gift items.

1. Blue Moon Books
   Blue Moon Books is a used bookstore in Canton with quality fiction and nonfiction titles in a wide variety of genres.
   
2. Chapters Book Stop
   Asheville’s first mobile book store on a refurbished school bus. They carry both new and used books.
   
3. Lit Local
   Lit Local is owned and operated by local author Jacqui Castle, and the mission is simple: get the work of local authors into the hands of more readers. You may have seen the carts around town!
   
4. Firestorm Books
   As a queer, feminist collective they feature books and events that reflect the interests, and the needs of marginalized communities in the South.
   
5. Cuentos y Cafe
   Cuentos y Café is a local multicultural, Latina woman-owned, independent book space that operates as a pop-up and online bookstore. We offer carefully curated new and used books that highlight BIPOC and BIPOC LGBTQIA+ authors, celebrating the richness of diverse cultures and experiences through our stories.
   The fun doesn’t stop there! :: We'll have bookish artists with jewelry, bookmarks, stained glass, journals, and more! :: Lit Local will also have local authors out for you to meet and get your books signed! ::
