We're bringing you aboard top-of-the-line vessels, led by professional Marine Biologists/Naturalists who know exactly how to find whales in their natural habitat. Brace yourself for jaw-dropping views of Monterey Bay and its majestic whale residents, all while soaking in invaluable insights into marine conservation. What to Expect:
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with our Monterey Bay Whale Watching Sea-fari! As you arrive, keep an eye out for your host waiting in the parking lot, ready to greet you with pre-boat snacks. Take in the stunning coastal views as you mingle with your fellow adventurers from Urban Diversion.
Once everyone has arrived, our exciting whale watching journey begins! We'll embark on an exploration of the bay, keeping our eyes peeled for breathtaking sightings of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
After the thrill of whale watching, we'll head to a local gem eatery for a late lunch with the group. This spot is known for its mouthwatering fresh seafood, clam chowder, signature cocktails, pasta, salads, and steaks, the perfect spot to refuel and swap stories about our incredible marine adventure.
Includes:
- Whale Watching boat tour adventure out of Monterey
- Lunch reservation for after boat tour

What to Bring:
- Camera (maybe even a waterproof one?)
- $$ for optional post-hike late lunch/ early dinner
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- Attire: Dress in warm layers!!
- Bring a warm jacket - with hood is best, and hat/beanie for the wind/sun
- Gloves are a good idea, this way your hands stay warm
- The temperature on the water is 15 degrees cooler than on land, dress to stay warm
- No heels, wear flat, skid free shoes so you don't slip

- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Not suitable pregnant women due to the boat tour requirements
