Join me for a hands-on experience in crafting your own unique slab-built WHALE TAIL MUG. Using Amaco No. 46 Buff Stoneware Clay, you'll learn the art of hand-building as you transform a provided slab of clay into a functional and stylish mug.At the end of the class you will be able to pick out the (food safe) glaze you'd like used for your final fire.

**Mug Pickup: Mugs will be available for pickup at your convenience 3-4 weeks after your class. This time frame gives the mugs a chance to completely dry which reduces the chance of them exploding while in the kiln.
This workshop benefits LOWCOUNTRY MARINE MAMMAL NETWORK. A portion of all ticket sales will be directly donated to the LMMN, hosted by Frothy Beard Brewing.
***LMMN's focus is to protect Charleston's local marine mammals through scientific research, raising awareness and educational outreach. LMMN provides education to beach vistors hoping to see strand feeding dolphins, engages local school children to become marine stewards in their backyards, and encourages local organizations and businesses to follow best viewing practices to reduce harassment of wild dolphins. With many years of experience working with the marine mammal community, LMMN aims to act as a bridge between the scientific and local communities. We need your help. They need your help.
