This term, as part of the Tuku25 programme, Te Ataarangi are running free, one hour taster sessions for people curious about He Waka Kuaka, our workplace reo development programme.
He Waka Kuaka is an immersive, workplace-focused te reo Māori pathway designed to build confidence and speaking skills in a supportive environment. Perfect for beginners or those continuing their reo journey!

Te Ataarangi has been a major force in the language revitalisation movement in Aotearoa for 44 years. Our mission is to teach the Māori language as a medium through which the wellbeing of the world and of human beings might be raised. Te Ataarangi ki Te Tauihu o Te Waka-a-Māui upholds this by fostering and promoting immersion teaching and learning opportunities across the Top of the South, with the aim of a strengthened reo capacity amongst whānau, hapū, iwi and communities.
