Over 18'sWexford’s own ‘Cool Hand Ukes’, will open WEXFORD UKE FEST ’26, bringing 4 of Irelands all time favourite Ukulele Groups, The Walkeleles, Ukeristic Congress, RUGS and Ukulele Tuesday, to The Talbot Hotel, for one night only, for a spectacular evening of entertainment.
The fun loving ‘Walkeleles’, have an ear for a good tune, and a keen eye for a cheap shirt. They kick off the night with their own brand of sing-a-long tomfoolery.
‘Ukeristic Congress’ , firm festival favourites at the Dublin Ukulele Festival and Ukuhooley by the Sea, stole the Show at the Ukulele Festival of Great Britain, too. Their music, a mix of beautifully crafted originals and carefully curated covers, mixes many genres to perfection with their own unique Ukeristic Ukulele interpretations.
The ‘RUGS’, have performed at numerous festivals and cultural events. Their upbeat, energetic performances bring the audience on a magical musical adventure. Their set includes a broad range of artists from Snow Patrol, Dua Lipa, The Killers, Queen and many more - sitting still is not an option!
Headliners, ‘Ukulele Tuesday’, are a lively bunch, who run the Stag’s Head’s weekly Tuesday sing-along session. The group are regulars at many music festivals across Ireland (and beyond!) They mash-up contemporary and classic hits, taking the ukulele into uncharted waters. - High Octane, full of fun, energy, and loads of talent - this gig is guaranteed to keep you on your feet!
