If you are unable to take the 5 week Felting Series and want to just dabble in the felting experience consider joining Fiber Artists Lisa Lombardi for this wet felting class "Bowl". In this class you will learn simple shaping and texture techniques and will create a one of a kind felt bowl. You will work slowly, layering different colors together to get your desired look. No experience needed as Lisa will guide you through every step.
Lisa Lombardi is a passionate artist whose creativity is fueled by her love of working with her hands and exploring the world. Having traveled to more than 25 countries, she discovered the art of Batik in Indonesia, where she learned directly from local craftsmen and fell in love with the ancient process of painting with wax and dye.
Her journey with felting began years earlier during her Waldorf Teacher training, where she was introduced to needle felting as a way to create puppets for storytelling. From there, she expanded into wet felting and felting on felt exploring the endless possibilities of wool as a medium.
Classes are non-refundable because we have limited space and the artists need to prepare. You can find another person to take your seat if you are unable to attend.
