With Claire Priestley from Teesdale Felt. Artist Claire Priestley is a member of Network Artists North East, and The International Feltmakers Association.
Learn how to create your own landscape using merino wool, and then embellished with a variety of effect fibres including silks, Wensleydale curly wool, Angelina Fibre, Nepps and hand spun yarn.
To make it more personal, the scenery you will be creating can be a landscape of your choice. Please bring a small towel and a photograph to use as inspiration. By the end of the session you will have a beautiful piece of artwork to take away, and the skills needed to create similar wet felted artwork. Your finished landscape will measure approximately 25cm x 25cm.
Light refreshments and all materials are included. This half-day workshop is perfect for both beginners and those wishing to refine their felting skills.
