Join the Fort Worth chapter of the Native Prairies Association of Texas (FW-NPAT) and the North Central Chapter of NPSOT for a morning exploration of the Westpoint Prairie in West Fort Worth. This prairie is a high-quality remnant and diverse, with some unique species for North Texas. Jeff Quayle, a field trip leader for FW-NPAT will lead the prairie tour to help document the biodiversity at the Westpoint Prairie. Participants will be focusing on collecting valuable data for natural resource management using iNaturalist observations.This prairie remnant is on private property, with permission from the landowner to have a BioBlitz there. The owner will require signing two liability waivers on site.
