***Westminster Commons Community Art Studio

Some things are even more beautiful when they are broken. Join us for an afternoon of art featuring mosaics made from broken cups and plates, found objects and ceramic and glass tiles. Our individual efforts will combine to make a beautiful piece of art. We'll have some other options for creative work in the room as well–polymer clay beads, greeting cards with stickers and stamps, and more. At the end of our time together, we'll have a chance to admire each other's work. Snacks and drinks will be on hand and live music will spur our creative energy. All ages are welcome. Free of charge.
About Westminster Commons: Hosted by the Westminster Presbyterian Church and led by a group of neighbors and friends, the Commons started in November 2022 with a cross cultural Thanksgiving event. Since that time we've hosted over a dozen events featuring games or stories or art or dinner. Our goal is to help different people and groups in the Capital Region connect to create a sense of common purpose, address problems and enjoy life more.
