Please join Claire and Allan for our first Kirtan at Westmeston Parish Hall, between Ditchling and Lewes Together we will be chanting a number of mantras, mainly from the Hindu tradition, accompanied by Harmonium, drums and guitar.
This is a beautiful practice for connecting with yourself and dropping out of the busy mind and into the heart.
No experience of singing is needed, just an open mind. It is a non-judgmental space to come and sit, sing if you want to, dance if you want to, or simply be still and listen and feel the sounds and vibrations created.
There are no mats or cushions at this hall so please bring a yoga mat, or similar, and something comfortable like a cushion or bolster to sit on. Also you may like to bring a blanket to wrap around you and water.
Tickets are offered on a donation amount based on your financial situation.
We are running these events at a suggested donations between £10-£15. We want this practice to be open to everyone, regardless of finances so we offer a concession donation of £8 for those on a low income or unemployed).
If you feel you cannot pay the minimum suggested donation please contact us to agree an exchange. We don't want to exclude anyone from this practice due to finances.
