Four major criteria determine what your classification will be: age, gender, proficiency (skill level), and wheel size. Just starting out? You’ll most likely be placed as a Novice and race others close to your age who are also just starting out.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
Most of the time, people just starting out, ride whatever they have in their garage. Just remove the kickstand, make sure you have grips that cover your bar ends, and remove those freestyle pegs if you have them. In addition to your bike you will need a helmet, we recommend a full face helmet but it is not required. Then throw on some long pants, long sleeves and closed toe shoes and you are ready to go!
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Getting started is easier than you think. Just show up during the listed registration/sign up times and find our registration desk located by the Hockey Scoreboard and one of our friendly volunteers will get you registered for the days action.
Registration/Sign Ups: 12-1:30 PM
Cost: $12 Pedal Bikes / $7 Balance Bikes (First time riders are FREE!)
