South Carolina’s Longest-Running Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade!
With tremendous excitement and jubilation, the Western York County Branch of the NAACP proudly announces the kickoff of planning for our 45th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade!
As the oldest and longest-running MLK Day Parade in the state of South Carolina, this cherished tradition continues to honor Dr. King’s legacy with unity, celebration, and community pride. Join us for a vibrant afternoon filled with marching bands, community groups, dancers, floats, and families coming together to uplift Dr. King’s message of justice, equality, and hope.
This year’s parade will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM in York, South Carolina.
