Well… you’re in the right place!

You may not have your own director’s chair or a private trailer (yet) but by the end of this day you’ll feel like a true director-actor-writer-editor all in one!

👋 Hey there! I’m Gábor a creative enthusiast who’s been part of multiple theater groups acted written and made both ridiculous and surprisingly watchable short films. 😄

The idea for this workshop sparked during a train ride to Siófok. Bored out of our minds we thought—what if we just made a film right here right now? So we did! We got inspired by our surroundings came up with a quick story grabbed a phone and shot the whole thing in an hour. The two-hour train ride felt like two minutes. Ever since I’ve been fascinated by this art form and now I want to share the excitement with you!

🎭 What can you expect?

✅ Themed costumes & props to bring your story to life

✅ Already Scouted filming locations—no need to search for the perfect spot

✅ A fun creative community working together outdoors in nature

✅ Guidance on character creation editing and filmmaking techniques

🎬 How does it work?

1️⃣ We go to the location and let the environment inspire us to create a story and a script together. We will use some exercises in case we need them.

2️⃣ Once we`ve developed our stories we will form small groups

3️⃣ We start shooting our short films using only our phones and props

4️⃣ As we go we build characters experiment with angles and probably even tweak the initial story

5️⃣ Once we’re exhausted (but satisfied) we sit down grab some food and start editing.

📌 What to bring?

🔹 Warm clothes a drink your own foord for lunch and any additional props you’d love to use

🔹 Your phone—fully charged + a power bank (trust me you’ll need it!)

🔹 A blanket for a cozy lunchtime picnic

🔹 Your own transportation

💰 Cost of the workshop: The same price as a meal for two in a restaurant or 2 cocktails at the Balaton.
